The Seder Meal is the main focus of the Jewish holiday of Passover. It recalls the events of the exodus from Egypt and to give thanks to God for the gift of freedom. After Jesus died and rose from the dead, people reflected upon his passion and death. They began to visit Jerusalem and walk in Jesus' footsteps. The street Jesus walked is still called Via Dolorosa, the way of pain. People would stop along the way and remember what had happened to Jesus.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the traditional Polish custom of blessing of Easter food called Swieconka (sh-vee-en-soon-kah). Those who wish to participate are invited to bring a sampling of uncooked or cooked foods e.g. breads, cakes, baked goods, colored/decorated eggs, vegetables, ham, etc. in a basket.
